Obey or Perish!!

Did you know that it is not an option as far as the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ is concerned?

No doubt, you have the free will to choose Jesus Christ or otherwise, but you canNOT choose whether you will suffer the consequences of sin!

The Bible says,

...the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance (retribution) on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; they SHALL be punished with everlasting destruction, away from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power when He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

~~~ 2 Thessalonians 1:7b-10 ~~~
God has issued the COMMAND for all humanity to listen, and to act upon it! (Of course, He commanded us out of love, not spite. You must obey the Gospel, not just hear only !!) You might wonder: "Why???"
Because He must punish sin. He does not hate the sinners per se but the sins of sinners. As such, those who fail to repent of their sin must bear the consequences. And God has forewarned us sinners in His holy Word.
Sin and holiness are not compatible. We are so unclean that even our righteousness or good deeds are considered as dirty rags, in God's eyes (Isaiah 64:6). That's how filthy we really are! And God is a God of justice, just as He is a God of holiness. So, being holy AND just, He cannot stand aside and close an eye, or both eyes, and pretend that nothing has happened.
God indeed is the Judge (Psalm 75:7), and a good One too. God is not wicked to punish sin. He would not be righteous when He does not do that. Hence, because of the character of God, judgment of sins is a sure thing! (Ecclesiates 11:9)
"Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" (Genesis 18:25) The obvious answer is: He shall, and He shall do at the time He appointed, and on the Day of judgment.
No doubt, God is gracious (kind). But God is also a God of severity! (Romans 11:22)
Any righteous judge cannot pretend that there is no breaking of the law when he knows that a particular law of his country has been wilfully violated...he must issue a just penalty for the offender of the land, or else he will be found inept and unrighteous.
The verdict or penalty of sin is clearly stated:
"Punishment of everlasting ruin (destruction and perdition) and eternal exclusion and banishment from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power!!!!!!!!!!!" --The Amplified Bible (emphases mine)
There are many so-called "gospels" in the world today. Many play down the severity of God and play up the kindness of God. (It's not a case of "either or," but "BOTH AND.") They have come under deception as a result! They have also led others astray with their teachings, which were designed to tickle the ears of their hearers, who love to hear such teachings because they love their own sins.
Irrespective of what you believe, God must act, if He is a righteous and just God! And He is indeed just and righteous altogether.
Regardless of what you think, you must do this one thing:
***Note that it is not any gospel that saves, but that of Jesus Christ! (Romans 1:16, Acts 4:12). There is none other.
OBEY the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ,
OR PERISH ! ***
The Bible says that in 2 Thessalonians 1:8,9.
REMEMBER: God has commanded you to obey !
Do it NOW !!
Read the blog entry titled,
'Ticket to Heaven'
And just do it (obey)! It costs you nothing except you must desire to fulfill the conditions.
